Technical and Commercial Questions Before RFQ Clarification
These answers establish the normal working framework. Project-specific ratings, standards and contractual requirements remain to be confirmed during RFQ review.

Are you a transformer manufacturer?
No. H&D POWER is an independent power equipment integrator coordinating project-appropriate manufacturing resources.
Can H&D POWER coordinate the complete PV equipment scope?
Yes, where agreed in the project scope. The package may include modules, inverters, step-up transformers, MV switchgear, protection, SCADA, PPC, cables and optional BESS. Final equipment, interfaces and responsibilities are project-specific.
Can you use customer-specified brands?
Brand options and manufacturing sources are discussed during a qualified project review and remain subject to authorized sourcing, availability and written supplier confirmation.
What engineering support is included?
Support may include specification review, equipment selection, interface coordination, technical documentation, FAT support and commissioning assistance within the contracted scope.
EQUIPMENT
Transformers, switchgear, BESS and cable.
Which transformer voltage levels can be reviewed?
Transformer projects are reviewed against the live system ratings, applicable standards, manufacturing fit and project-specific requirements. No fixed capability range is committed before supplier confirmation.
Which switchgear standards are supported?
Applicable standards, internal-arc needs, utility specifications and certification requirements will be confirmed during technical clarification.
Can RMU protection and automation be included?
Protection, metering, motor operators, fault indication and remote interfaces may be included where defined in the approved project scope.
Can BESS include PCS, BMS, EMS and fire protection?
The scope may include these systems. Final configuration, safety architecture, thermal management, grid-code functions and communication interfaces are project-specific.
Can cable sizing be included?
It may be reviewed when load, route, installation, ambient, voltage-drop and short-circuit data are provided. Statutory design approval remains with appropriately licensed local parties.
QUALITY, RESPONSIBILITY & TIMING
FAT, local approvals and quotation timing.
Where is FAT performed and what is included?
Integrated FAT can be arranged at an approved manufacturing or complete-set partner facility, subject to project scope, facility capability and the agreed FAT procedure. Included tests, witness points, facilities and costs are defined in the agreed FAT procedure and commercial offer.
Who is responsible for local design and grid approval?
Statutory engineering design, construction licensing, installation certification, grid-connection approval and utility authorization remain subject to local laws and appropriately licensed local parties.
Does H&D POWER guarantee grid connection?
No. H&D POWER provides equipment integration, technical documentation, interface coordination, FAT support and commissioning assistance within the contracted scope. Formal grid approval remains with the project owner, utility and appropriately licensed local parties unless expressly included through an approved local partner.
How do the 24-hour and 48-hour targets differ?
The 24-hour target covers initial acknowledgement and input review after sufficiently complete project information is received. The 48-hour target covers an initial scope breakdown and, where pricing inputs are sufficient, an initial budgetary quotation. Neither target is a final quotation, approved design, guaranteed configuration or delivery commitment. Final timing depends on project complexity, supplier confirmation and documentation requirements.
